Becoming aware of the quality of light that’s illuminating your subjects, what direction it is coming from and utilizing the time of day will literally become second nature.

Simple outings to Clearwater Beach or a local restaurant are held up for the camera swapping dance - instead of simply enjoying one another's company and the experience, family trips can devolve into trips from point A to point B, a series of photo op locations in-between.
I love the easygoing, laid-back camaraderie of this family and the laid-back beach setting was the perfect backdrop for these photos. Taking them as well as editing them was a breeze and equally as fun - it was almost a vacation for me as well!
Summer vacation time is here - finally! And a vacation would not be a vacation here in sunny Tampa Bay Florida if you and your family did not take advantage of one of our beautiful beaches. TripAdvisor recently rated Clearwater Beach as the number one beach in the United States, and is one of the top 25 beaches in the world. Let me repeat that - the world. As a Florida native who doesn't appreciate the beaches here nearly as much as I should, I find this incredible, and it's motivated me to go out and utilize these locations even more.
So, whether you're a native or a tourist, a beach vacation and beach photos all in one are a practical and fun way to make the most of your summer.
