Family Beach Photos at Pass-a-Grille Beach

I did some research after this session - pass-a-grille means "the passageway of the grillers," named for when the island was still a post for pirates and fishermen grilled their catch of the day along the shore. Sans the pirates, its namesake is still accurate - even though our session started at 7 AM and we practically had the entire south beach to ourselves, fishermen still dotted the end of the dock at the southern tip of Pass-a-Grille Beach. 

I love the easygoing, laid-back camaraderie of this family and the laid-back beach setting was the perfect backdrop for these photos. Taking them as well as editing them was a breeze and equally as fun - it was almost a vacation for me as well!
